INQUIETA

Quietly strong, endlessly reliable and a mother to the next generation.

Inquieta is a consistent, fertile, reliable mare — one who conceives year after year, carrying forward her mother’s and father’s lineage without interruption.

In 2018, she foaled Obstinada, who died after weaning her own filly, Sesmaria. It was a hard and unexpected loss.
In 2021, Ratão II was born — a horse unusually tall for the breed, which naturally led us to direct him toward jumping. Today he teaches children at the Jockey Club in Lisbon and already competes in show‑jumping courses.

In 2022, she foaled Sossego, now working at the Académie Équestre de Versailles alongside Tipo. Tall, handsome and with easy movement, he fits the discipline immediately.

In 2024 came Urraca, with a queen’s name.
In 2025, Vodka, still very young.

Inquieta is one of the key mares who sustain the herd. She conceives every year, raises her foals well and recovers quickly. She carries the lineage of Rabeadora and Oceano with a quiet strength, as if she knows the future depends on her. And through losses and joys alike, she never wavers — a mare who keeps the herd moving, generation after generation, without ever losing its direction.
