These are Lusitano Pure Blood horses selected with excellence, appreciated for their imposing presence and elegant movements, for their noble temper and multiple aptitudes to the several equitation disciplines, such as dressage, bullfighting, jumping, and more recently to the working equitation.

Besides the Lusitano Pure Blood, the breeder also maintains in her estate, the Herdade da Agolada de Baixo, an important sample of Sorraia horses, a native breed of southern Iberia that survived in the wild. These horses are the primary ancestors to many other breeds, such as the Lusitano Pure Blood, but its reduced number is nowhere near a number that would ensure its survival, and end the threat of extinction!

This is a highly traditional stud endeavoring to take full advantage, in the present, of its prestigious past.
